How you get credit
Every partner gets a free account with a personal referral link and QR code. There are three ways a referral gets credited to you:
- Your link or QR code. When someone visits through it and requests a consultation, it's tagged to you automatically.
- They mention your name. Our consultation form asks "Who referred you?"
- You send them to us. Submit their name and number from your account, and we'll reach out.
If two people refer the same customer, credit goes to whoever referred them first.
Earnings and payouts
- Your commission is set for each project and shown in your account.
- Milestone: once 20 of your referrals have paid for their projects, your commission becomes a fixed 10% on every customer from then on.
- Status shows Pending until the customer pays in full, then Payout on the way, then Paid to you.
- We pay by Zelle, check, or cash. Set your preference in your account, and we'll email you when it's sent.
- Your earnings history is kept permanently, so you can look back at any year.
- Your account includes a free marketing kit: flyers, cards, and social posts with your link and QR code already on them.
Taxes
If your earnings reach $2,000 in a year, the IRS requires us to have a Form W-9 from you. We'll email you when you get close (around $1,500), and payouts that would bring your yearly total to $2,000 or more are held until we receive your W-9. We'll then send you a Form 1099-NEC by January 31. Never enter your Social Security number on our website.
For realtors: closing gift certificates
Download a "Welcome Home" certificate from your account to give buyers at closing: 10% off custom window treatments plus a free in-home consultation. Bookings with your code are credited to you, and you still earn your commission. 10% off products for new customers; excludes installation and sales tax. One per household. Valid for one year from closing. Not combinable with other offers.
